Submitting a revised manuscript through ScholarOne Manuscripts

Image: How long does the review process take?

Revise your manuscript, addressing the reviewers' comments. These changes should be highlighted in the manuscript by using track changes in MS Word or by using bold or colored text.

Outline these changes in text, so that you can submit them to the journal along with your revised manuscript.

Please note that if the journal is double-blind, your revised manuscript should be double-blind as well.

Once you have revised your manuscript, you can submit your revision from your Author Centre. Please do not start a new submission. Locate your original manuscript in your Author Dashboard, and click on "Create a revision":

sumbitting revisions in ScholarOne

If your revision deadline has expired, please contact the editorial office of the journal for further assistance.

You will need to "view and respond to the decision letter" on your manuscript when you submit a revision:

Decision letter

Enter your response to the reviewer(s)' comments into the text box:

Response to the reviewer(s)' comments

If the journal allows you to upload this as a Word document as part of your PDF proof, please indicate this in the "response to decision letter textbox." You will then be able to upload them in the “file upload” stage.

Delete your original files, and upload the new revised files at the "file upload" stage:

Response to the reviewer(s)' comments

If you have submitted your revised manuscript correctly, it will have the same manuscript ID number as your original manuscript, with .R1 appended to it: TANDF-2010-0014.R1
